Isaac Clarke is the protagonist of the Dead Space video game series. He is an engineer who works for the Concord Corporation, a mining company that operates on the USG Ishimura, a massive spaceship.
When the Ishimura is attacked by a horde of Necromorphs, mutated human corpses that are highly aggressive and dangerous, Isaac must fight for his survival. He is armed with a variety of engineering tools that he can use to defend himself against the Necromorphs, such as a plasma cutter, a flamethrower, and a stasis module.
