Bocchi the Rock Hitori Gotoh

Hitori Gotoh, affectionately nicknamed “Bocchi-chan,” is the shy and socially anxious guitarist of Kessoku Band in Bocchi the Rock!. Despite her crippling stage fright and difficulty speaking to strangers, she possesses extraordinary talent on the guitar, having spent countless hours practicing alone in her room. Her pink hair and perpetually nervous expression hide a burning passion for music and a deep longing to connect with others.

On stage, she transforms into a confident, expressive performer whose melodies speak louder than her words ever could. Off stage, her awkwardness often leads to comically disastrous situations, but her sincerity and effort make her endearing. Hitori’s journey is one of breaking out of her shell and finding her place in the world through music.
