Castorice, introduced in Version 3.2 of Honkai: Star Rail, is a 5-star Quantum character aligned with the Path of Remembrance. Known as the "Daughter of the River of Souls" and a Chrysos Heir, she hails from the snowy realm of Aidonia and is deeply connected to themes of death and the afterlife. Her unique abilities involve summoning a memosprite named Netherwing, consuming allies' HP to deal significant AoE Quantum damage, and applying debuffs to enemies.

Despite her formidable powers, Castorice is portrayed as a gentle and empathetic individual, often described by fans as calm and socially reserved due to her lethal curse that causes death upon touch. This curse has led her to find solace in creating and cuddling plush toys, as she is unable to interact with living creatures. Her character design, featuring pale skin, lilac eyes, and lavender hair adorned with butterfly motifs, reflects her ethereal and melancholic nature.
