Panther Tank

The Panther tank (Panzerkampfwagen V Panther) was one of Nazi Germany's most advanced medium tanks of World War II, designed to counter the Soviet T-34. Introduced in 1943, it featured a powerful 75mm KwK 42 L/70 gun, excellent frontal armor, and superior optics, giving it deadly accuracy and penetration at long range. With sloped armor and a top speed of around 46 km/h, the Panther struck a rare balance between firepower, protection, and mobility.

It first saw major combat during the Battle of Kursk and quickly proved to be a serious threat to Allied and Soviet armor. Its design influenced post-war tank development, particularly the use of sloped armor for improved survivability. Technically classified as a medium tank, it often performed the role of a heavy tank in combat.
