Link Click Cheng Xiaoshi

Cheng Xiaoshi, one of the main protagonists of Link Click, is a sharp-witted and impulsive young man with a remarkable ability: by holding a photograph, he can travel back to the moment it was taken and inhabit the body of the person behind the lens. Alongside his calm and analytical partner Lu Guang, he runs a small shop that takes on special photo-related commissions, helping clients uncover lost truths or solve hidden mysteries.

Unlike Lu Guang, Cheng Xiaoshi often lets his emotions drive his decisions, throwing himself wholeheartedly into each mission—even when it puts him at great personal risk. His deep empathy and inability to stay detached often lead to tense clashes with Lu Guang’s colder logic. Yet it’s this passionate nature that allows him to form genuine connections with the people whose lives he briefly inhabits. Throughout the series, Cheng grapples with the heavy burden of carrying memories and consequences that were never truly his.
