Guan Yu (Minifig Factory)

Guan Yu, also known as Guan Yunchang, was a legendary general of the late Eastern Han Dynasty and a revered figure in Chinese history and folklore. Serving under the warlord Liu Bei, he was celebrated for his loyalty, righteousness, and martial prowess, becoming one of the Five Tiger Generals of Shu during the Three Kingdoms era. He wielded the Green Dragon Crescent Blade and rode the famous steed Red Hare, cutting a fearsome figure on the battlefield.

Guan Yu's deeds, including his slaying of Yan Liang and his epic crossing of five passes, were immortalized in Romance of the Three Kingdoms and later deified in folk religion as the God of War. His unwavering loyalty and tragic death at Maicheng became a symbol of virtue and honor in Chinese culture. Even today, shrines to Guan Yu stand across China, honored by merchants, soldiers, and common folk alike.
