Zhu Gaoxu

Zhu Gaoxu, known as the Prince of Han, was the second son of Emperor Yongle of the Ming Dynasty and one of the most ambitious princes of his era. Known for his martial prowess and bold personality, Zhu Gaoxu was a celebrated general who fought valiantly in his father’s northern campaigns against the Mongols. His courage and strategic mind earned him recognition among the imperial court and soldiers alike.

However, his pride and desire for power made him deeply envious of his elder brother, Zhu Gaozhi, the Crown Prince. Convinced of his superiority, Zhu Gaoxu openly challenged the imperial succession. His ambitions sowed tension within the imperial family.
