Berserk Griffith

Griffith, the charismatic and enigmatic leader of the Band of the Hawk in Berserk, is a figure both admired and feared. With ethereal beauty, unmatched ambition, and tactical genius, he rose from nothing to command armies and kings alike. His dream of attaining his own kingdom drove every choice—no matter the cost. After enduring imprisonment and torture, he sacrificed his comrades during the Eclipse to ascend as Femto, one of the five God Hand. As Femto, he embodies demonic elegance and absolute control, manipulating causality with a terrifying grace. This transformation marked the death of the man called Griffith—and the birth of something inhuman.

Later reborn into the physical world as the "Hawk of Light," Griffith cloaks himself in divine splendor, adored as a messianic savior. Beneath the halo, however, remains the same cold ambition and ruthless will. He commands apostles and armies alike to shape the world according to his vision. Despite his apparent benevolence, his very existence twists fate, cloaking salvation in sacrifice. The duality of his forms—demonic Femto and angelic Hawk—reflects his role as both redeemer and destroyer. To follow Griffith is to bask in light while standing in shadow.
