Kangxi

The Kangxi Emperor (康熙帝) was one of China’s greatest and most accomplished rulers, presiding over the Qing dynasty during a golden age of stability, expansion, and cultural flourishing. Ascending the throne as a child, he overcame regents, internal revolts, and external threats to become a highly capable and hands-on sovereign. Kangxi personally led military campaigns against the Three Feudatories and secured Qing control over Taiwan, Mongolia, and Tibet, shaping China’s territorial integrity for centuries to come.
