Water Margin Hu Sanniang (LYL)
Hu Sanniang (扈三娘), nicknamed “Ten Feet of Blue” (一丈青), is one of the most memorable female warriors in the Chinese classic Water Margin. The daughter of the wealthy Hu family of Hu Family Village, she is renowned for her beauty, courage, and exceptional martial ability. Fighting with a pair of sabers and displaying impressive skill on horseback, she proves herself capable of challenging some of Liangshan's strongest heroes before eventually becoming one of the 108 Stars of Destiny.
Ranked 59th among the 108 heroes of Liangshan and corresponding to the Earthly Comet Star (地慧星), Hu Sanniang later fights alongside her husband Wang Ying as one of Liangshan's cavalry leaders. Her combination of elegance and battlefield ferocity makes her stand out among the predominantly male cast, and she remains an enduring symbol of the formidable female warrior in Water Margin.
