Romance of the Three Kingdoms Ma Chao (LYL)
Ma Chao, known as the “Splendid Ma,” was one of the Five Tiger Generals of Shu, celebrated for his unmatched bravery and striking appearance. The son of Ma Teng, a noble of Xiliang, he was raised amidst the rugged frontiers of the northwest, where warfare was a way of life. From a young age, he earned fame for his skill in cavalry combat and mastery of the spear.
His fiery temperament and unyielding pride made him both admired and feared by friend and foe alike. After rebelling against Cao Cao to avenge his family’s death, Ma Chao eventually joined Liu Bei and became one of his most trusted warriors. His valor on the battlefield was said to shine like gold under the sun—dazzling yet untamed.
